Letter, 1892 April 2.

Letter to "Carey" apologizing for refusing to write autographs. He states that he has been punished with a "Christian Science retribution," that is, he became ill. He offers to give the autographs, and even offers to give some of dead men of distinction, should it be wished. Written at the Chelsea, 222 W23rd St., New York, N.Y.
